Ahead of this Ligue 1 (L1) round three clash, Lyon will be looking to bounce back from last weekend’s defeat, whilst Strasbourg will be hoping to continue their unbeaten streak.

After their 2-0 victory over Amiens in front of their own fans on the opening day, the ‘Lyonnais’ then fell apart in an embarrassing defeat away at newly-promoted Reims last Friday (1-0), just their second loss in 15 L1 matches (W10, D3, L2). At home, Lyon are on a run of seven straight wins, six of which saw them keep a clean sheet.
